How quickly will I receive my MyHomeware towel radiator?

We dispatch all in-stock radiators within 1 working day (next day delivery). Our cut-off time is 2pm, and we dispatch only on the weekdays. Please contact us if you wish to have your radiator delivered on Saturday.

You will receive tracking information once your order leaves our warehouse. We advise not to book a plumber or electrician until your goods have physically arrived and been inspected.

Accessories are dispatched with Royal Mail Tracked 48, so we aim to deliver them within 2-5 working days.

What is your return policy if I order the wrong size radiator?

You have 30 days from receipt to return unused items in their original, undamaged packaging. Please note that for unwanted items, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using our BTU Calculator and Size Guide before ordering to ensure the perfect fit. Please be aware that the width of the towel rail is bigger than its pipe centres.

What size towel radiator do I need for my bathroom

This depends on the room dimensions (in cubic meters) and insulation level, not just the look. Use the BTU Calculator in our Help Centre to find the exact heat output required for your space. As a rough guide, a small cloakroom needs approx. 1,000 BTUs, while a large family bathroom may need over 3,000 BTUs.

Which valves do I need for my new towel rail?

It depends on your pipework, and a model. Towel rails have underneath connection, so:

  • For pipes coming out of the wall
You need Corner or Angled Valves.
  • For coming up from the floor
You need Straight Valves (if pipes align with inlets)

For standard or designer radiators with sideway connection, inspect your current pipework and consult a plumber.

You can view our full valve collection here.

Do your towel radiators come with everything needed for installation?

Towel rails come with wall brackets and a bleed valve/blanking plug. You can choose a valve in the towel rail's listing. Valves are sent together with the towel rail.

What is a difference between an electric & dual fuel radiator?

Electric-only models are filled with a glycol solution and heated by an internal element. Dual Fuel radiators need access to central heating and have an electric element fitted as an extra to heat when the central heating is off.

Why is my towel radiator hot at the bottom but cold at the top

This usually means there is trapped air inside. You need to bleed the radiator using the bleed valve at the top. Always use a radiator key and a cloth to catch drips. We have a step-by-step guide on "Does My Radiator Need Bleeding?" in our Technical Help section.
